inaugural blablog
So here’s the blog page, part of the new site which is something that needed to happen, and though I wasn’t seeking it directly, here it is. It’s come about through sort of a strange detour on what I thought was a solid path; an unexpected flat tire of sorts, on the way to somewhere on the road of life that is now but a mental projection. Fortunately for me, the calamity left me stranded in a rather fertile outpost as opposed to a barren wasteland. Seems I’ve been granted some wishes by benevolent spirits here in Thailand. Either that or I’ve hit upon a very rare pattern of alignment in the implicate chaos of a blind universe. All the same, whichever veils ones wishes to dress their existence in, be it preordained fate or nihilistic happenstance, time/space played out in true form, granting wishes in the most unexpected of ways.
Oh my, the quotes that run through my brain as I type this. Too many to list, and most of them are rather corny. That one from John Lennon about when “life” actually happens bears not repeating, but I suppose a cliché is born from its timeworn persistent relevance.
But really: What would Dr Heagney make of all this? My advisor in all matters metaphysical must have any number of theories to empart at such a seemingly auspicious juncture. I suppose I’ll have to ask him once he returns from his latest adventure, frought with intrigue and charged with derring-do. This time it’s a search for the elusive abstemious yogis of the Himalaya that reportedly subsist on nothing but air. Surely those fellas will have some insight into the fabric of reality that could explain these expereinces we all have that bring into question whether beyond our senses, somewhere “out there”, someone/something- some harbinger of providence is keeping track, tallying scores and in this case, doling out favours.
Thanks for stopping by.
bottom pats and hand slaps,
dave.
