Yan De Hafuri’s Online Shop. Dig it.
Friday, May 25th, 2007So:
the T-shirts I designed for Yan De Hafuri have been in the Tokyo boutique for a few weeks, I’ve received my own samples (me n’ my lady wear the gender-delegated products with a smile and they fit perfectly too…see below for some samples…), and now they’ve included them in their online shop. Of course I recommend you go take a look at www.yandehafuri.com and click on “collection/online shop”. It may be a bit of a hit or miss experience for those of you can’t read Japanese (or just a miss experience when you convert how much yen the Tokyo fashion scene can command), but I figured I’d better post the link anyways. If any non-Japanese manage to order a shirt I will send you something for sure… I’m not sure what, umm, maybe a shirt of my own production or one of the books – something for your trouble, like.
Speaking of books, my latest offering to the bonfires of poetry, ‘Nakayubi Two: the barnstormer’ has seen the first copy published and it’s on the way here to Thailand in the mail, so after I read through for typos or other embarrassing gaffes, it will be made available in the shop, along with everything else…it’s a book of 50 poems set in different cities I’ve visited/frequented/inhabited over the last years of meandered itinerance. I’m hoping that with 50 cities, everyone will be able to relate to at least a few, as well as dig the more obscure ones for the sake of metre, rhythm, dope-ass rhyming and tongue twisting wordplay. I think it turned out pretty good, myself.
What else…
Ernie Vernon the merch guy has given me inventory on all the t-shirts sold in the webshop and it seems there are but a few left in all the designs, while the HolloDeMilo in black has been totally cleaned out, even the few pieces I had stashed away for friends, damn you Ernie, shameless capitalist… I suppose we’ll consider it as a retired jersey.
Once I find the time, I’ll get working on a new design for another round of limited editions, promise…
I suppose that’s that laundry list taken care of; now for the sweat soaked pile of undies. The recent spate of humid days have left me in a state of perennial soup/sweating brow itch. Best stay inside with a laptop and an air conditioner, really. Well, except when venturing out for lunch wearing your spiffy new Yan De Hafuri shirt…
available in ladies’ sizes in: SERIOUS/PENSIVE,
and for a limited time only :COY/SEDUCTIVE.
Perhaps we’ll manage to get some snaps of the men’s version one of these days.
Tood’loo.
dave.
